Councillor Aengus O’Rourke nominated to contest Seanad election on Industrial and Commercial Panel
Chambers Ireland today (11/03/15) announced that it will nominate Athlone based Fianna Fáil Councillor, Aengus O’Rourke to contest the upcoming Seanad elections on the Industrial and Commerical Panel.
On the announcement, Ian Talbot, Chief Executive, Chambers Ireland said: “We are delighted, as one of the nominating bodies for the Industrial and Commercial Panel, to be able to put forward Cllr. Aengus O’Rourke to contest the Seanad Elections. As a small business owner and a former President of Athlone Chamber of Commerce, Cllr. O’Rourke has a strong knowledge of the issues that face businesses throughout Ireland and that Chambers Ireland works hard to promote.
