Wide Range of Opportunities Available to Leaving Cert Students

Chambers Ireland today (17 August 2016) congratulates all students receiving their Leaving Certificate Results and encourages them to look at the full range of options open to them as they take the next steps in their career.

Ian Talbot, Chief Executive Chambers Ireland said, “Congratulations to the 58,000 students that received their Leaving Certificate results this morning. We wish all students good luck as they embark on the next stage of their futures. For many, third level education will be the preferred option but we encourage those receiving results today to examine the many opportunities available through apprenticeships and further education courses. Apprenticeships and focused further education courses will prepare many school leavers to move directly into skilled and rewarding employment opportunities across a wide range sectors.  

Further education and vocational training in Ireland has undergone significant changes over the past few years, and there are now far greater opportunities open to school leavers.  We urge students to look at the full range of options available to them.”
