Chambers Ireland Statement on Pay and File Deadline

Chambers Ireland has today (20/11/13) expressed disappointment that the Department of Finance continues to see the bringing forward of the pay and file date as a practical proposal.

Speaking this afternoon, Chambers Ireland Chief Executive Ian Talbot said “Delaying the implementation of a new deadline by a year does nothing to solve the very real problem that businesses will have trying to compute and pay taxes several months in advance. This proposal is utterly unfeasible and must be permanently shelved.”
