Policy and International Affairs Manager
Shane is a barrister and manages policy development, advocacy and stakeholder engagement at domestic and EU level. His interests span infrastructure, digital policy, energy and competitiveness, alongside broader EU policy and economic development. He works with the International Chamber of Commerce on a range of policy initiatives, particularly in the area of international trade.
He has experience in a range of sectors including hospitality and with organisations in both the financial services and human rights sectors. He occasionally writes on topics that sit at the intersection of law, policy and innovation and has had his peer-reviewed research published by Cambridge University Press in a leading EU law journal.
Shane is a member of the Bar of Ireland. He has an LL.M. in European Economic Law from the University of Groningen and a BCL (International) from the University of Galway, during which time he studied law and German at the University of Leipzig.
