This award recognises the work of the Chambers in how well they communicate the work they do in being the voice for business in their community through social or other online means. Submissions to this category could include successful online launches, newsletters, educational webinars, social media marketing, blogs, digital advertising, enhancing your website or other ways you have communicated with your members.
*** NEW *** Best International Project
Chambers have become very active in driving business for their members overseas. They have organised for their members to visit new markets in order to develop new business. Chambers have also been involved in international projects that have given new opportunities to the Chambers and its members. This award recognises the exciting work in this area.
*** NEW *** Community Support Initiatives
Chambers are instrumental in creating appealing environments for living, working, and conducting business. This category celebrates resourceful and innovative projects that enhance communities, specifically projects that creatively address important issues. This category celebrates initiatives that facilitate community engagement, showcasing the impact of giving back.
*** NEW *** Sustainability and the Biodiversity
This category highlights the growing significance of sustainability. Chambers committed to supporting and promoting sustainability and biodiversity, both within their own operations and in assisting their members to engage. This award recognises the vital role Chambers play in promoting sustainability and biodiversity initiatives. Recognition of the SDGs would be important.
Event of the Year
Chambers run a variety of interesting and informative events throughout the year. This category is for the most unique, successful and engaging events throughout our network that have caught the attention of members.
Lobbying & Policy Campaign
Lobbying & policy is at the heart of what a Chamber does in service of its members and its region. This category recognises the work which goes into making a successful policy campaign led by a Chamber. Suggested projects could include lobbying for improvements on infrastructure and access, support of businesses and employment or environmental initiatives.
Local Authority Engagement
Having a successful collaboration with your local authority is important for a Chamber. There are many important and unique ways a Chamber can work with its local authority to enhance their community and support their business members.
Supporting Business
It’s important for Chambers to recognise and support the needs of their members. The award recognises ways in which Chambers have worked to enhance the environment locally for business, as well as give a helping hand to members in their area to help them develop or find new markets.
Chamber of the Year
The Chamber of the Year award is given to the Chamber which has excelled in a number of areas throughout the year. It is given to the Chamber that is working to benefit its members, engaging its stakeholders, and representing its community to the best of its ability and is representing all that is great about our network.
